OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2011. The Government supports the initiative of the authorities of Cherkasy about development of a tourism infrastructure of the Uman city. It was declared by the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during his working trip to the city of Uman of the Cherkassy region.

While visiting of the National dendrology park of Ukraine "Sofiyivka", the Prime Minister has listened to proposals on development of a tourist infrastructure of Uman, including the allocation of additional land for park "Sofiyivka", where hotels, a transport infrastructure would be constructed.

Also management of the Cherkasy region has made a proposal on building of the passenger airport in Uman which will promote the development of tourist industry.

Mykola Azarov has supported such initiative and has promised that the Government would consider this possibility.
