OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2011. A delegation of International Council of Swedish Industry led by its CEO Ms. Erica Molin held negotiations with the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Swedish side briefed the Uzbek side on meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade, Uzinfoinvest Agency, Uzbekenergo, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the MFA said.

The sides discussed perspective directions of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Sweden, first of all, in trade-economic and investment sectors.

NIR delegation informed that Uzbekistan created favourable investment climate, preferences and benefits for foreign investors, which attract large companies, including to the Navoi free industrial and economic zone.

The sides confirmed interest in development of mutual beneficial relations on long-term bases in priority directions of cooperation.
