Since 2003, Baosight Software actively explores and practises organization-level project management and its project management capability maturity is always in the forefront in domestic industry, supporting the company's annual smooth implementation of more than 13 projects. Recently, in PMI (China) 2011 Project Management Conference held in Beijing, Baosight gets outstanding PMO (Project Management Office) Award, along with China Agri-Industries Holdings Ltd. and ZTE, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

Project management has become an important means for global enterprises to achieve strategic objectives and enhance the execution capacity. Project management concept is imported into China 10 years ago and has been widely used in IT, aviation, energy, communications, finance, manufacturing fields. Founded in 1969, PMI (Project Management Institute, USA) is a global project management authority. PMO Award is the first organization-level project management professional award which PMI sets up in China. It aims to establish a organization-level project management benchmark and promote best practices.

In 2003, Baosight began company level project management organization, which was responsible for organizing, coordinating, promoting, implementing project management system construction work. With PMI's PMBOK as guide and aiming at 5 project processes (start-up, planning, implementing, controling and finishing) the company establishes a set of effective project management standards, vertically covering the whole project life-cycle from pre-sales to operation and maintenance and laterally supporting large customer projects, cluster projects and single projects management needs.

In addition, combining company's actuality, Baosight vigorously promotes the training of project managers, establishes project manager competency model and evaluation mechanism, forms project manager- advanced project manager- senior project manager three-level progressing and closed-loop manage capacity development management mode, and gradually develops a professional project manager team of world level. Up to now, there are 186 Baosight employees who have received the U.S. Project Management Institute PMP (Project Management Professional) qualifications, 20 who have received IPMP (international project management professional certification) qualifications, 46 who have received the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology project manager qualifications and 24 who have received construction engineer qualifications.
