The grain output ascended to 30 billion kilograms from 25 billion kilograms. The sown area of wheat next year will reach 36 million mu. The wheat yield per unit area will hit 350 kilograms.

The wheat yield in 2010 hit 12.065 billion kilograms, increasing by 39.85 kilograms compared with that in 2005. The average wheat yield reached 340 kilograms per mu in 2010, increasing by 84 kilograms per mu compared with that in previous years.
