OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2011. GLONASS solutions for commercial transport were presented by the M2M telematics group as part of the international exhibition Comtrans 2011.

A demonstration of innovative GLONASS technologies for the Russian automotive industry was one of the highlights of the exhibition. KAMAZ and M2M telematics gave a joint demon-stration of their vehicle fleet monitoring and management system — for leasing companies among others, based on a telematic platform from M2M telematics.

According to the marketing director of the M2M telematics group, Svetlana Khadonova, the main idea behind the collaboration between KAMAZ and M2M telematics is to create innovative values for customers. This close cooperation between such well-known brands and technological solutions allows customers to attain high levels of efficiency in their vehicle usage, solve production and business-related issues and ensure that their vehicles are working safely. GLONASS technologies are making it possible to give customers a markedly different service level, and to provide a wide range of additional tehcnological capabilities in vehicle fleet management.
