OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2011. The II Inter-Regional Banking Conference set up by the Moscow International Currency Association (MICA) took place on 5 - 8 October, 2011 in Kazan, the capital city of Tatarstan Republic.

At the conference the issues of the Russian banking system current state, its development prospects with emphasis on the regional aspect were under discussion. There was an exchange of opinions on the matters of the regulatory problems, bank capital increasing in view of the new requirements on preserving stability in the system, increasing the profitability of business in the financial services industry, creating new ideas and products.

The participants and guests of the conference were over 230 managers and employees of banks, banking associations, stock exchanges, financial, brokerage, investment companies, experts and analysts as well as media representatives.
