OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2011. The branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company in Nizhniy Novgorod concluded insurance contracts with the OOO Bank Bogorodskii. In accordance with the contracts, the insured amount for the ATMs of OOO Bank Bogorodskii and the cash inside them is 23.1 million rubles. The risks associated with the use of bank cards are also covered by the insurance. The liability for this type of insurance is limited to 5 million rubles.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company is the leading insurer in the banking sector, including the insurance of ATMs with cash and insurance of the risks of issuers of bank cards. As of today, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company operates more than 25 insurance policies for ATMs with cash, the total number of insured ATMs is more than 12 thousand. In 2010, the total amount of indemnity that was paid by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company under this type of insurance contracts exceeded 120 million rubles.
