OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2011. In the framework of his visit to the Khmelnytskyi region, in the village of Humentsi, President Viktor Yanukovych took part in the commissioning of a newly built production line at OJSC "Podilsk Cement".

The new line has the production capacity of about three million tons of cement a year. The new modern equipment allows the company to switch from wet to dry cement production and make the emissions 99.9% cleaner. In addition, the new dry oven can replace the old five.

The project provides an opportunity to almost halve the fuel use, reduce the price of cement, increase the competitiveness, improve the working conditions for workers, and reduce the emissions of dust and harmful gases into the atmosphere.
