OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2011. Public Joint Stock Company Concern Galnaftogaz became one of the winners of the Sixth All-Ukrainian contest of the best regular information of joint stock companies and obligors held by Securities and stock market state commission (SSMSC). The purpose of this competition is to honor the most transparent and public companies that adhere to the principles of transparency and openness in their activities. Selection of the winners was carried out by contest commission, consisting of representatives of SSMSC and other government bodies, representatives of main stock exchanges of Ukraine and other securities market participants.

Galnaftogaz has been recognized as the winner of this contest for a few times. This year it took third place in the most prestigious category of the contest For the best disclosure of information concerning the level of corporate governance. But, as Director of Galnaftogaz law department Roman Syvyi noted, the place number does not matter in this contest. More important is the fact that SSMSC again recognized Company’s consistent information policy based on openness and transparency, thereby creating confidence of our shareholders, investors and society.
