Air Carriers Start Selling Aeroexpress Tickets
OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2011. Aeroexpress, together with Russian air carriers, continues to offer passengers new services. Aeroexpress electronic tickets can now be purchased via the websites of VIM-AVIA, Donavia, Yakutiya, and Dagestan Airlines. It is worth mentioning that airlines S7 and Sky Express were the first to offer the service on their websites.
Some partner airlines carry special dialogue boxes for Aeroexpress ticket purchases on their website homepages. Passengers can buy Aeroexpress travel documents, even if they are not looking to purchase air tickets. Other air carriers offer the service as an extra option that passengers can select when completing the purchase of an air travel document. After the order has been submitted, a notice is sent to the passenger’s email saying that the Aeroexpress ticket has been bought. Printed passenger itinerary receipts must be used when passing Aeroexpress turnstiles at the airport and rail terminals.
Passengers of the airlines listed above can purchase standard class tickets, which are valid until the end of the next day following the date of purchase. As usual, special fare tickets can be bought from Aeroexpress ticket offices at Belorussky, Kievsky, and Paveletsky Rail Terminals, as well as at the airports.
Early purchase of Aeroexpress tickets allows passengers to be more precise in planning their routes and journey times. It takes 45 minutes to travel from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Paveletsky Rail Terminal. The journey from Sheremetyevo International Airport to Belorussky Rail Terminal takes 35 minutes. Trains run every 30 minutes along these routes. Once an hour there is a train travelling from Vnukovo International Airport to Kievsky Rail Terminal. The journey time is 35 minutes.
