OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2011. A delegation of Thai Eastern Group (Thailand) headed by Mr. Somchai Kokanutaporn, the company founder, who was accompanied by Mrs. Sinenush Kokanutaporn, director of sales and exports, and Mr. Kittisakom, a representative of the Export-Import Bank of Thailand and Head of Business Development in Eastern Europe, visited the enterprises of TATNEFT petrochemical complex, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The meeting was initiated by Tatneft-Neftekhim Management Company in the framework of implementing the policy of TATNEFT and its petrochemical business enterprises to enter direct pay contracts with producers of raw materials.

The foreign partners highly assessed the production facilities operating at the Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory and the modern technical equipment laboratories of the Kama Research and Technology Center.

The outcome of the visit was signing of another direct pay contract allowing to bring external economic cooperation to a qualitatively new level. In case of the Nizhnekamsk tire complex this means further reduction of raw materials procurement costs for the production of motor vehicle tires.
