OREANDA-NEWS. October 13, 2011. It is stipulated by the amendments to the Criminal Code approved by the Parliament in the first reading.

Until now, inclusion of the wrong data on incomes or expenses in the account, tax or financial documents or hiding of other objects of taxation by enterprises and organizations was punished by 1-2 thousand c.u. or a up-to-two-year imprisonment, while the amendments proposed by the government stipulate the increase in the fine to 2-3 thousand c.u., and the imprisonment term is increased to 3 years.

The Criminal Code will also contain a new provision, according to which the mentioned crime committed by a group of persons in a criminal collusion will be punished by a fine in the amount of 3-5 thousand c.u. or 3-6-year imprisonment. Law breakers in both cases will be deprived of the right to take certain posts or do a certain activity for 2-5 years. In case of a legal entity, the fine will amount to 3-6 thousand c.u. with deprivation of the right to do a certain kind of activity or liquidation of a legal entity.
