OREANDA-NEWS. Sapsan services will undergo some changes when the winter timetable comes into effect on Russia’s railways from 30 October 2011, reported the press-centre of RZD.

The main change will affect Sapsan trains running between Saint-Petersburg - Nizhny Novgorod (via Moscow): No. 175/176 St. Petersburg - Kursk Station in Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod and No. 173/174 Nizhny Novgorod - Kursk Station in Moscow - St. Petersburg.

Replacing these routes will be the Sapsan services St. Petersburg - Moscow and Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod.

Sapsan trains between Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod - Moscow and the connection between Moscow - St. Petersburg - Moscow will run on the timetable from 30 October 2011.
