OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2011. In accordance with resolution of the Management Board of “Samruk-Kazyna” Sovereign Wealth Fund” JSC Kaiyrgeldy Kabyldin has been appointed the General Director of “KazTransOil” JSC.

Kabyldin Kaiyrgeldy Maksutovich was born in 1953 in Pavlodar region. He graduated from Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.I.Lenin (specialty - electronic calculating machines, qualification – engineer-electrician, 1975).

Has been working for more than 30 years in petroleum industry of the country, passing a large professional way from service engineer to Chair of the Management Board of NC “KazMunayGas” JSC. He has held various senior level positions in the Ministry of oil and gas industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “COTC “KazTransOil ” CJSC, NC “Oil and Gas Transportation” CJSC, "Kazakhstan holding for state assets management “Samruk” JSC etc.

He was awarded with “Kurmet” award of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1999), An honorable oilman of the Russian Federation (2001).
