OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2011. Years of dispute over belonging of Tiantangzhai trademark was settled, as National Trademark Office granted Anhui Province the registered certificate recently.

Tiantangzhai, or literally means Heavenly Village, is one of main peaks in Dabie Moutain, which sits among Jinzhai County of Anhui, Luotian County and Yingshan County of Hubei Province.Over a 20-plus-year effort by Lu'an City and Jinzhai County of Anhui, the scenic spot of Tiantangzhai enjoys high recognition over eastern area of China, while Luotian County made a preemptive move by registering the trademark ahead of Anhui.

Anhui voiced its dissent to National Trademark Office for reviewing in 2008, which was followed by 4 times of report, consultation and communication, and finally got the favorable ruling from the office in June last year.

Tiantangzhai Tourist Association of Anhui applied for registering the trademark, and was approved on Feb.21,2011.
