Committee of Kyoto Protocol Considers Ukrainian Issue
OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2011. In Bonn (Germany) the first part of meeting of the Compliance Committee of the Kyoto Convention on Climate Change has taken place. The Committee has heard the report of Ukraine on conducting of the Cadastre for emissions of a greenhouse gases in 2008-2009.
Speaking before the Committee, the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine Mykola Zlochevsky has noted that the problem issues related to conducting of the Cadastre for emissions of a greenhouse gases in 2008-2009, are decided for today.
The Nobel Prize winner of 2007, American scientist - ecologist Woodrow Clark has also made a speech in support of Ukraine at a meeting of the Compliance Committee of the Kyoto Protocol to the Convention on Climate Change.
The second meeting of the Compliance Committee of the Kyoto Convention on Climate Change in Bonn (Germany) will be held in the closed mode on October 12. It will be accepted the decision on a conformance to requirements of the Convention of conducting of the Cadastre for emissions of a greenhouse gases in 2008-2009 in Ukraine.
