OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2011. For any modern retail bank, customer convenience is a top priority. Uniastrum’s new opening hours ensure that individual customers are guaranteed quality services such as applying for loans or cards, opening deposits, making payments, performing foreign-currency transactions or money transfers – at times more fitted to their lifestyles, reported the press-centre of Uniastrum.

Since the changes were introduced more than 40 Uniastrum branches in Moscow and the Moscow region now open on Saturdays. The neighborhood banking centers at Kitay-gorod, Krasnaya Presnya, Pervomaiskaya, Tagansky Square, 30, Komsomol Avenue, Minitsky Radiomarket, and MTC Europark work seven days a week. Also, more than half of Uniastrum offices in the capital have extended their hours and are now open from 9:30 am until 8:30 pm.

Today Uniastrum has over 70 outlets operating in Moscow and the surrounding area. Thanks to the Bank’s well-ramified branch network, persons living in Moscow or the Moscow region’s larger towns are assured of immediate access to high-quality banking services. Uniastrum’s decision to extend its opening hours is just part of a phased program to upgrade the network with a view to improving customer service. In pursuit of this objective, the Bank is refurbishing its offices in accordance with its new corporate style, moving outlets to more suitable locations, closing older branches and opening new ones on busier public thoroughfares.

“Opening hours is one of the most important criteria for retail clients when it comes to choosing the bank that’s right for them,” notes Vasily Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of Uniastrum’s Management Board. “Our Bank has one of the biggest branch networks in and around the capital. We have long made it a matter of policy to accommodate our clients’ needs and preferences and continue to develop and optimize our services to the public in order to ensure the very best in customer convenience.”
