Restaurant Dominic to Offer Onboard Menu on Estonian Air Flights
OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2011. In October Estonian Air Premium class passengers will be served an onboard menu prepared by the chefs of restaurant Dominic where Chef de Cuisine Allar Oeselg has cleverly merged the classical European and new trends in international cuisine, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.
On Thursday, 13 October 2011, a very special restaurant flight on the Tallinn-Paris-Tallinn route will take place for gourmets: all the meals will be made in restaurant Dominic and the Chef de Cuisine Allar Oaselg will be personally serving and talking about the food and its concept.
The onboard menu in October varies depending on the length of the flight. For instance, the Premium class passengers can enjoy Coq au vin with curry rice and Parmesan or Italian salad with penne, chicken and tomatoes. For dessert Mascarpone cream with mint flavoured peach and oatcake, or Chocolate cream with sour cherries.
Representation of Estonian food and the skills of local chefs is an important part of Estonian Air’s new development strategy.
The restaurant project was launched in order to present the high level of Estonian restaurants to Estonians and foreigners visiting Estonia. Estonian Air hopes it will make flights memorable, to provide passengers with new taste experiences, by diversifying the menu and showing different approaches of Estonian chefs in food making through variety of tastes and raw materials.
