“Fujitsu VISIT” Is now “Fujitsu Forum”
OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2011. Under the banner “Reshaping IT,” Fujitsu invites customers and partners to its annual customer conference on November 9 and 10, 2011 in Munich, Germany. Fujitsu Forum – formerly known as “Fujitsu VISIT” –not only has a new name, but this year’s program has also been extended. Fujitsu offers visitors discussions on current IT trends with top managers and Fujitsu experts, as well as presentations by two high-caliber guest speakers: neuroscientist Baroness Susan A. Greenfield, and chess legend Garry Kasparov. International pop star Anastacia will be performing in a live concert on the evening of November 9, 2011.
Reshaping IT – Keynote of CEO Rolf Schwirz describes strategic direction
The central topic at this year’s Fujitsu Forum is “Reshaping IT.” Experts will address questions like: ‘What are today’s toughest IT challenges?’ ‘Do all roads lead to the cloud?’ and ‘What are the key trends and technologies for tomorrow’s IT?’ In his keynote, Rolf Schwirz, CEO of Fujitsu Technology Solutions, will present the company’s strategy, outline what the IT of the future will look like, and what this means for Fujitsu’s customers.
Satoru Hayashi, Executive Vice Chairman of the Board at Fujitsu Technology Solutions, will also extend these topics, as will Dr. Joseph Reger, CTO, and Hans-Dieter Wysuwa, Senior Vice President Product Sales Group, to name but a few more speakers.
Social Program with Thought Leaders Link Social Topics with Business IT
Apart from Fujitsu’s top managers and experts, the approximately 6,000 visitors from Europe, Africa, the Middle East and India can expect two guest speakers with international reputations. Baroness Susan A. Greenfield, neuroscientist and best-selling author from Britain, will discuss possible scenarios and options for future life in the 21st Century on November 9. Garry Kasparov, Russian chess legend, world champion and author, will focus on which chess moves can improve business decision-making on the Fujitsu Forum’s second day, November 10.
The scheduled program and speakers also will be supplemented with impromptu sessions and expert talks. Here, participants can learn about issues effecting CIOs and IT users - from the energy-efficient data centers to Green IT to services from the cloud.
