OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2011. One of the world's largest exhibition of automobile vehicles “KOMTRANS 2011” was complete its work.

More than 300 manufacturers of automobile vehicles and parts from all over the world took part in it.

Large image and economic effectiveness of the exhibition allowed it to win the status as one of the most important developments in the field of road transport.

A competition “Best Commercial Car of the Year in Russia” passes each year. By the end of 2010 the best vehicle was recognized MAZ-5440A9. This year, according to the authoritative jury, MAZ-6903 won the second place in “The prospect of the year”. The main criterion for selecting the nominees of the competition — contribution of the vehicle in traffic effectiveness.

The exposition of Minsk Automobile Plant was presented the following items:   

— Fifth-wheel truck with front engine layout MAZ-6440PA;      

— Fifth-wheel truck MAZ-5440B9;

— Drop-side truck МАZ-4371W1;

— Tipper truck МАZ-6501W6;    

— Bus МАZ 241.

Original stand of the plant and update technology aroused great interest among visitors of the exhibition and media representatives. September 13 at the stand of Minsk Automobile Plant has passed press conference with Deputy Director General of Technical Development, Dmitry Korotkevich and Head of trucks sales Sergei Zaharevich. During the press conference they were talking about the latest developments of Minsk Automobile Plant, about the prospects of further development, about positions which plant takes on the international market of vehicle manufacturers, and about Russian marketplace.

Minsk Automobile Plant has traditionally been a participant in the exhibition “KOMTRANS”. This is a place for business communication with partners and potential customers. As a result of the negotiations was achieved several agreements, which undoubtedly will expand the geography of supplies MAZ vehicles and strength its position in the Russian market.
