OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2011. The State Reserve is ready to give 3 thousands tones of fuel for jet engine of SE Boryspil. This was started by the head of Agency Oleksiy Lelyuk. 

"We are ready to help, give a hand to SE Boryspil, especially as we have stocks of jet fuel. While they are on our bases, it is not far from Kyiv, so we can quickly execute the decision of the Government" - Oleksiy Lelyuk said, adding that this concern to the decry of the Cabinet of Ministers on October 3, 2011 № 956-p. "On the dispensing from the State material reserve of jet fuel," which allowed the State agency of reserve to release to SE "International airport "Boryspol" from state material reserve in IV quarter of 2011 3 thousand tons of jet fuel.

He explained that 3 tons is not very large amount of fuel, but it was necessary that the main airport of the country could avoid critical situations such as transferring or canceling flights. According to Oleksiy Lelyuka volume of jet fuel will help solve the situation with its deficit for 3-4 weeks. He noted that the deficit is not only in Ukraine but in Russia and other countries: this is due both to reduced production and a rise in prices for fuel.

Thus Oleksiy Lelyuka noted that the State Reserve does not sell fuel: it will be direct to the SE Boryspil on contractual basis in the order of temporary borrowing and it have to be returned until 30 March 2012 with a monthly payment of 0.9% of the cost of jet fuel for the use and provision of financial guarantees.

The Head of the Agency said that it was very frugal and prudent loan and interest by using is relatively small. He recalled that the State Reserve defends the idea of material rather than a financial reserve and said that jet fuel had to be in the same amount returned to the State Reserve in March 2012 year.
