Chongqing to Launch International R&D Institution Mission
OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2011. The 2011 International R&D Institution Mission to Chongqing will be launched in Chongqing Municipality on October 22. The Committee for the International R&D Institution Mission to Chongqing announces that over three hundred domestic and overseas experts from the top 500 enterprises in the world and international R&D intuitions, including the winner of 2004 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, will come to Chongqing.
The International R&D Institution Mission to Chongqing has been initiated since 2009 with once every two years; this year will launch the second time, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and Chongqing Municipal Government. The event is mainly for inviting overseas R&D institutions and urgently-needed scientific and technological enterprises to settle offices or subsidiaries in Chongqing for the development, establishing a platform for exchange and cooperation of domestic and overseas enterprises and promoting technological development in Chongqing. Chongqing Science & Technology Commission introduces that the International R&D Institution Mission to Chongqing launched this year will strive for bringing in over one thousand of overseas technologies.
