OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2011. Today, KAMAZ has welcomed a large delegation from Italy which arrived to conduct successful negotiations on further long-term cooperation with OJSC KAMAZ.

The working group included top managers of CNH (Case New Holland) led by Richard Tobin, Chief Financial Officer of CNH Global NV, and Franco Fusignani, President and CEO of CNH International. The guests are accompanied by Irek Gumerov, Deputy Director General for Development, KAMAZ’s top managers, and Timur Nuriahmetov, CEO of the Russian-Italian Joint Venture – CNN-KAMAZ Industrial.

During their stay in Naberezhnye Chelny, the members of the Italian delegation will visit the production facilities of the joint venture which are being reconstructed now and take part in negotiations with Director General of OJSC KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin on further cooperation.

It should be recalled that in October 2009, KAMAZ, the leader of the Russian automotive industry, and CNH, the world’s leading agricultural equipment producer, signed an agreement to set up a joint venture in Naberezhnye Chelny for the production of CNH special equipment. For the first three quarters of 2011, CNH-KAMAZ Industrial BV has sold its customers 185 combine harvesters and 184 tractors branded NEW Holland.
