Belarusbank Announces January-September 2011 Totals
OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2011. The regulatory capital of the Bank amounted to BYR 5 176 billion as of October 1, 2011. The authority fund reached BYR 3 288 billion or EUR 431 million.
The Bank's funding base increased by 51% or BYR 26 trillion in the first nine months of 2011, and amounted to BYR 78 trillion as of October 1, 2011.
As of October 1, 2011, the amount of corporate finance doubled and reached BYR 30 trillion.
The funds raised through bond placement among entities amounted to BYR 1 291 billion, including BYR 798 billion and USD 88 million.
As of October 1, 2011 the private deposits (adjusted for accrued interest) amounted to BYR 17 trillion, including BYR 8 trillion and USD 1 550 million.
Belarusbank attracted BYR 521 billion, including BYR 59 billion, USD 54 million and EUR 21 million as of October 1, 2011 from individuals through bond placement.
The indebtedness of Belarusbank to foreign banks and financial corporations under "tied" loans grew by USD 143 million and amounted to USD 553 million.
The Bank's loan portfolio reached BYR 51 trillion, including corporate clients loans - BYR 30 trillion, and retail loans - BYR 21 trillion.
As of October 1, 2011, the indebtedness of individuals under concessional loans pursuant to the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus (No. 185, 75, 368) reached BYR 18 trillion.
More than 4,9 million Belarusbank plastic cards circulated as of October 1, 2011.
There are 1 013 ATMs, 1 972 self-service kiosks, and almost 21 thousand POS-terminals, 2 030 cash advance offices, 1 935 utility payment acceptance outlets.
The share of cashless transactions with plastic cards in total amount of debit transactions with plastic cards in the banking network in September, 2011 constituted 20,69%, comparing with 17,62% in December, 2010.
Within 9 months of 2011, the Bank bought foreign currency in cash in the amount of USD 926 million in equivalent, the Bank sold almost USD 933 million in equivalent (as converted).
As of October 1, 2011, the branch network comprised 43 bank branches (including 6 regional (Minsk) branch offices), 99 banking services centers and 1832 local branches (where 843 or 46% local branches are located in urban area and 989 or 54% are located in rural area).
