During 9 months 2011, OJSC "Surgutneftegas" prospecting and exploratory meterage drilled in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) totaled 34.3 thousand meters, which makes 153% of the results performed in the same period of 2010. The Company tested 86 geological sites and commissioned 23 exploration and prospecting wells, reported the press-centre of Surgutneftegas.

We acquired data to discover new deposits of hydrocarbons in Vostochno-Alinsky (within Central Block of the Talakanskoye oil and gas condensate field), Kedrovy, and Severo-Talakansky license areas. Additions to C1 reserves amounted to 8.8 mn tons of oil.
