OREANDA-NEWS. October 7, 2011. The Board of Directors of OJSC NOVOIL, a subsidiary of JSOC Bashneft, meeting on October 3, 2011, adopted a resolution appointing Ildus Sarvarov as general director of the refining company.

Ildus Irekovich Sarvarov was born January 10, 1963, in Ufa, in the Republic of Bashkortostan. In 1985 he completed studies at the Ufa State Petroleum Technological Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering. That same year, Mr. Sarvarov began working at the Omsk refinery where he rose from unit mechanic to chief mechanic of the plant. From 2001 through 2009 he was general director of Gaspromneft-ONPZ. From 2009 through 2010 Mr. Savarov headed the Moscow refinery. Ildus Sarvarov joined JSOC Bashneft as director of the Department of Petrochemicals in March 2011.
