OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2011. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine ordered the PE Lukoil Ukraine, PE Okko petroleum, LLC Golden Equator and LLC Alliance Holding to set the retail prices of petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas on a level that would exist under conditions of significant competition in the market.

As the Committee found there were increasing of prices for gasoline A-95 at the gas station, in particular, under the brands of "Lukoil", "Okko", "WOG" in September 2011. Prices increased by 10-19 kopecks / L and were 10.49-10.60 UAH / litter.

At the same time, world market prices for crude oil, Platts indices and the euro has tended to decline as the dollar rate to UAH remained stable.

As of October 4, these operators were somewhat reduced prices for petrol and liquefied petroleum gas, but not to the appropriate level, thus the cost of diesel fuel remained unchanged. Moreover, prices of all fuels of these enterprises are higher by 10-20 kopecks / L than in the operators with small market share.

The result of recommendations PE Lukoil Ukraine, PE Okko petroleum, LLC Golden Equator and LLC Alliance Holding should inform the Committee within ten days.
