OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2011. At the same time, in comparison with the same period of 2010, they increased by 726.2 mln or 7.2 percent, the finance ministry reported. The state budget’s main revenues for 8 months of 2011 totaled 9,685.6 mln leis or 98.8% of the planned amount.

Compared to the same period last year, they grew 625.1 mln leis or 6.9 percent. State institutions financed from the state budget accumulated incomes from special funds in the amount of 718.3 mln leis, constituting 84.6% of the planned level, at the same time, exceeding indicators of the same period last year by 86.4 mln leis or 13.7 percent.

Special funds’ incomes in January-August this year totaled 224.1 mln leis or 121.5% of the planned level, up 24.4 mln leis or 12.2% in comparison with indicators for 8 months of 2010. Incomes of projects financed from foreign sources totaled 262.4 mln leis or 62.5% of the planned amount. Internal and external grants totaled 187.2 mln leis out of the total amount, including internal grants – 6.2 mln leis; foreign grants – 181 mln leis. According to the finance ministry’s data, the state budget expenditure in January-August totaled 9,266.4 mln leis (808.6 mln dollars) or 86.5% of the level planned for this period.

Compared to January-August last year, they increased by 676.9 mln leis or by 7.9 percent. At the same time, the main expenses totaled 8,091.5 mln leis or 91.7% of the planned amount. In comparison with the same period last year, the state budget’s main expenditure increased by 336.3 mln leis or 4.3 percent.

The state budget deficit in January-August this year amounted to 1,143.9 mln leis. It was covered by funds from the issue of government securities (64.1 mln leis), funds from foreign financial assistance (638.6 mln leis), incomes from sale and privatization of state property (28.8 mln leis), other sources (854.6 mln leis). At the same time, 442.2 mln leis were earmarked for repaying the main amount of credits, to fulfill obligations to foreign creditors.
