OREANDA-NEWS. October 6, 2011. Pipeline company BTC Co is exploiting actively an additional source of oil for transportation via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline named after Heydar Aliyev.

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan informs that Turkmen oil supplies started via BTC in July 2010 increased in September versus August indicators.

“Until 1st October 2011 it was delivered 3.552 million tons, including 2.28 million tons this year,” it was informed.

At that, this September it was supplied 154.308 tons versus 148.118 tons in August, 191.494 tons in July,168,596 tons in June, 204,748 tons in May, 797,000 tons in April (absolute record of delivery per month for the entire history), 208,123 tons in March, 183,138 tons in February and 225,142 tons in January 2011.

The agreement on Turkmen oil transportation via BTC was signed in July 2010 and prolonged in June 2011.
