OREANDA-NEWS. October 6, 2011. In the third quarter of 2011 the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred over 1.5 mln. rubles to support non-working pensioners-veterans of the port, active members of Council of Veterans and people, celebrating their jubilee.

At the present moment the group of companies supports 885 non-working pensioners, registered by Interregional Social Organization called “Veterans of Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”.

Apart from quarterly bonuses former employees of the port traditionally receive payments on the eve of different holidays, special assistance is rendered to survivors of the siege and participants of war.

In 2011 4.6 mln. rubles were transferred to support veterans of port work.
