OREANDA-NEWS. October 6, 2011. Specialists of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (“SPSP”) together with the specialists of “Universal Forwarder” performed successfully the operation on handling of heavy-lift equipment with the total weight of 240 tons.

Line transformer with the weight of 150 tons and additional equipment with the weight of 90 tons were reloaded from the berth 23 of JSC “SPSP” to multi-axis rail chain by the floating crane “Demag” suitable for handling of cargoes with the total weight of 350 tons.

After handling operation rail chain with the line three-phase transformer to be operated at Saratovskaya HPP was transported to Balakovo.
