OREANDA-NEWS. October 6, 2011. Laying of the foundation stone of the hotel complex for 3600 rooms took place in the Olympic Park.

Together with the stone, granite – the symbol of the special power and strength, a capsule with the message for future generations was laid. Sergey Gaplikov, SC "Olympstroy" President, Victor Vekselberg, "Renova" group of companies President, Veniamin Golubitskiy, "Renova-StroyGroup" group of companies, and Oleg Vronskiy, Deputy Head of Sochi, participated in the ceremony.

Representatives of CIS countries, journalists and Partners of the Winter Olympic Games 2014 will live in the hotel complex in 2014. In the post-Olympic period the complex will become a comfortable recreation place for Russian and international tourists.

"It is one of the most important Olympic venues of the construction Program from the point of view of forming an international hospitality zone in Imeretinskaya lowland, attraction of attention of guests that will come to the Winter Olympic Games 2014", - noticed Sergey Gaplikov, SC "Olympstroy" President.

The complex consists of the hotel, 3- and 4- star apartment hotel, trade and entertaining zone, and will occupy wo land plots of 36 ha.

Completion of the construction is planned for the year 2013. Developer of the project is LLC "Top Project" from "Renova" group of companies.
