Belarus Raises Livestock Procurement Prices 55-67%

The minimum threshold procurement prices of medium-fat cow milk has grown 55% to Br1.88 million (USD 344 at the NBB rate) per tonne, premium milk - Br1.62 million, first-category milk - Br1.495 million.
The minimum threshold procurement prices of cattle, cattle meat has grown 67%: young livestock under 350 kilos – Br8.883 million per tonne, livestock over 400 kilos – Br10.98 million per tonne. Premium livestock – Br18.387 million per tonne.
Swine procurement prices have gone up to Br 9.537 million per tonne (live weight).
The prices were raised in line with the Agriculture Ministry’s resolution #58 of September 19, 2011.
