OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2011. Tongfa Dongzhouyao, a coal company affiliated with the Datong Coal Mine Group, held a ceremony marking its trial operation, reported the press-centre of Datong Coal Mine Group.

Hu Yuting, a member of the Datong Municipal Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China and vice mayor, and Wu Yongping, chairman of the Datong Coal Mine Group, pressed the starting button, with the picture of coal cutting by underground shearer displayed on the big screen.

The Tongfa Dongzhouyao project, jointly invested by the Datong Coal Mine Group, Guangzhou Pearl River Power Fuel Co., Ltd. and Datong Queshan Clean Coal Co., Ltd., is a key project in north China's Shanxi Province.

The project includes a mine with a designed annual output of 10 million tons, a coal preparation plant with an annual cleaning capacity of 10 million tons and a subsidiary technically upgraded project of a special railway transportation line. Under constructions in the early stage, the tunneling, the layout of workface and equipment installations have all been completed so far and the project is in the full trial production phase.
