The factories "Nizhnekamskshina" and "Nizhnekamsk truck tires" of mass tire production that are part of "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company have received new certificates of quality management systems conformity to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The certificates obtained are the evidence of successful completion of special audit conducted after the reorganization of the tire factories in the petrochemical complex of TATNEFT.

The truck tires manufacturing factory was transformed into a limited liability company ("NZGSH") in July 2011. Even earlier the services of personnel management, quality and audits system, as well as the service of operations support management and others were also withdrawn from OAO "Nizhnekamskshina". From January 1, 2011, manufacturing of tire products has been changed from a customer-owned feedstock basis to a traditional scheme.

The transformations performed have changed not only the structure of administrative units, but also the current system of quality management. The results of the special audit have demonstrated that the activity of enterprises in the new control conditions of tire business with the expansion of certification for the design of products is in line with international standards.

The area of certification for ISO/TS 16949:2009 includes activities of "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company in the field of strategic management, business planning, personnel management, management of the QMS and "STC "Kama" in the field of tire designing and development, testing of raw and consumable materials, tires certification, as well as approval processes of products manufacturing.
