OREANDA-NEWS. October 5, 2011. Today, on the 5th of October, KAMAZ has welcomed a delegation of the Chinese company Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. Led by its president, Mr. Wang Jinyu.

The delegation includes top managers of Foton Motor, directors of research institutions and special equipment producers. The top managers of KAMAZ and Director General Sergey Kogogin are working with the guests from China.

The guests will visit some important facilities of OJSC KAMAZ. The members of the Chinese delegation will be demonstrated the main assembly line and a cab assembly conveyor at the automobile plant. The Chinese automakers will visit an engine assembly conveyor, a shop for localization of details for CUMMINS engines at the engine plant. They will examine a cylinder heads processing line, an engine assembly line at CUMMINS KAMA JV located at the facilities of the engine plant. The guests will be demonstrated a transmission assembly line at another joint venture – ZF KAMA. In conclusion, they will visit Research and Development Center of OJSC KAMAZ where they will see a current line-up of KAMAZ vehicles.

It is planned to discuss ways of further cooperation between KAMAZ and Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. at the meeting in the general directorate of OJSC KAMAZ.
