OREANDA-NEWS. October 05, 2011. ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate has concluded a comprehensive personal property insurance contract for the insurance amount of 16,652,194 roubles. The four-room apartment with space of 155 sq.m., located in the city centre, has been insured under the Megapolis program, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The insurance coverage applies to the residential premise’s internal furnishing, plumbing systems, structural elements , movable property, as well as the apartment owner’s civil liability.

The structural elements and movable property have been insured against the basic set of risks: fire, explosion, lightning stroke, unlawful third-party actions, burglary; robbery, brigandage; flood, natural disasters, aircraft impact, collision with transport vehicles, glass breakage, and damage by extraneous objects. The internal furnishing has been insured against the extended set of risks including, along with standard risks, such risks as flood due to malfunctioning washing machines and dishwashers, flood due to decapsulation of aquarium walls; breakdown in water supply, sewage, heating systems; rescue costs; cleaning-up expenses of up to 10% of the amount of damage; costs of relocation and protection of up to 10% of the amount of damage; costs of renting another residential premise for the duration of repairs, accounting for up to 5% of the insurance amount. In addition, the contract covers the apartment owner’s civil liability for infliction of damage to third parties in course of use of this residential premise, performance of finishing or repair works. The contract will be valid for one year.
