OREANDA-NEWS. October 4, 2011. Today President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has familiarized himself with the Centre of Intellectual Transport Management System of Baku.

Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov has reported that the system will be commenced in December 2011.

" By that time expenditures for its creation and introduction will be specified",- Z. Mammadov said.

The Centre is located in individual 5-storey administrative building , equipped with modern servers and monitor of 120 sq m area. By means of monitor it is possible to control the state of transport at 150 crossroads as well as have access to the information on managing 2.000 buses. 60 cameras have been assembled in highways to control traffic situation.
