OREANDA-NEWS. October 4, 2011. The management of joint stock company “Ventspils nafta” (Ventspils nafta) herewith informs that on October 3, 2011 the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia has registered incomplete composition of the Supervisory Council of Ventspils nafta that was elected on July 27, 2011. Registration of an incomplete composition of the Supervisory Council can be explained with the fact that a part of the Supervisory Council members nominated and elected by the second largest shareholder of Ventspils nafta (joint stock company “Latvijas Naftas Tranzits”) – Rudolf Meroni, Guy David Anstis, Janis Haze and Mihhail Dementjev – still have not submitted to the Ventspils nafta management the originals of their consents to be supervisory Council members. With nonexistent original documents the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia cannot adopt a resolution on registration of a complete Supervisory Council.

The management of Ventspils nafta will carry out registration of a complete composition of the Supervisory Council that was elected on July 27, 2011 after it will receive originals of the consents to be a Supervisory Council member from the above mentioned four Supervisory Council members.
