OREANDA-NEWS. October 4, 2011. Today at the Gazprom headquarters Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Yury Boiko, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister had another round of negotiations dedicated to the cooperation in the gas sector.

The meeting emphasized the efficiency of the ongoing dialogue aimed at meeting the previously reached agreements.
Background

On January 19, 2009 Gazprom and Naftogaz Ukrainy signed two contracts:
— purchase and sale contract for the period from 2009 through to 2019;
— contract on volumes, terms and conditions of natural gas transit across Ukraine for the period from 2009 through to 2019.

On April 21, 2010 addenda to the above mentioned contracts were inked by Gazprom and Naftogaz Ukrainy.
