Renaissance Advisors, the private finance and advisory services unit of Renaissance Group, has appointed Leo Berent as Head of UHNWI Coverage at Renaissance Advisors, responsible for client management and deal origination across Russia, the CIS, Asia and Africa. Renaissance Advisors was formed in April 2011 to provide holistic solutions to the Group’s key clients.

Berent, who will be based in Moscow as a Managing Director, joins Renaissance Advisors from Credit Suisse, where he was Co-Head of the Solution Partners Shareholder Advisory Group EMEA, as well as Head of Credit Suisse Moscow’s Advisory & Sales Team. Berent worked for Credit Suisse for over 10 years, in senior coverage roles and in Equity Sales.

Renaissance Advisors also announced that it has appointed Vagan Amichba as Head of Sales. Amichba, who joined Renaissance Advisors in August 2011 as Senior Financial Advisor, previously ran his own M&A consulting boutique and was head of wealth management at Troika Dialog.
