OREANDA-NEWS. October 4, 2011. Sevmash became one of participants of the seventh international exhibition "SevTAK-2011", which finished at Murmansk.

Main goal of the exhibition is to help development of fuel-energetic complex, marketing, industry and energetic sphere of  Euro-Arctic region of Russia. The exhibition was organized by support of  Administration of Murmansk region, Russian and Murmansk unions of  manufacturers and employers.

More than 100 national and foreign companies participated in the exhibition. Arkhangelsk region was presented at the international forum only by Sevmash. The enterprise suggested projects in civil shipbuilding. The off-shore ice-resistant fixed platform (OIFP)  "Prirazlomnaya" attracted great attention, because it is the first project of Russia for Arctic. As experts marked, the next stage will be development of Shtokmanovskoye field. Head of Murmansk regional Administration Dmitry Dmitrienko visited stand of Sevmash and underlined, that joint out-fitting of "Prirazlomnaya" is a good base for cooperation between Murmansk region and Sevmash for development gas- and oil fields in Arctic. To Dmitry Dmitrienko opinion, realization of this project and also service of Military-Navy fleet can be useful for repair and creation of atomic ice-breakers and ships of auxiliary group.

Projects of  Sevmash became interesting for French oil concern "Total", Norwegian oil-product company "Statoil", suppliers of equipment ad materials from Canada, Finland, and also Moscow, Yaroslavl, Murmansk, Vologda and other regions of Russia.

Deputy of Chief  designer of Sevmash Vasily Kuzmin participated in the forth international conference "Development of Arctic: step by step" in the exhibition. Scientists, the leadership of largest companies, representatives of social and ecologic organizations discussed cooperation of Russian and foreign companies for development of fields in Norwegian, Barents and Kara seas.

As a result Sevmash received the diploma for active participation in the seventh international exhibition "SevTAK-2011".
