OREANDA-NEWS. October 03, 2011. Special Steel Business Unit signs strategic cooperation agreement with Getrag (Jiangxi) Transmission Co., Ltd. Both sides will work together to create the most competitive automotive steel supply chain, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

Getrag (Jiangxi) was founded in 2006, with customers at home and abroad. Ford US, General Motor US and Dongfeng Motor are all its strategic partners. Since the establishment of the company, it began car engine steel localization project  cooperation with Special Steel Business Unit .

In the signing ceremony, Getrag expresses gratitude to Baosteel for its help and support in the localization process and it gives a special presentation on the company's current situation in China and the next five years development plan. Special Steel Business Unit says that it will continue to consolidate and expand bilateral strategic cooperative relation, adhering to the customer oriented and creating value for the customer concepts, evoke Baosteel's edge in auto spare part steel products development and technology R & D  and provide quality services for Getrag so as to achieve win-win situation.
