OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2011. TNK-BP together with SKOLKOVO Foundation summarized the results of the research paper contest held as part of the program of Company cooperation with SKOLKOVO Foundation in innovation projects, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

Nine universities from Moscow, Kazan, Ufa, Tyumen, Tomsk and Irkutsk took part in the contest. They presented 31 projects to increase the energy efficiency of the base and auxiliary oil and gas production, processing and sales processes. 3 top winners and 7 prize winners of the contest were determined.

Three papers prepared by the research teams from the Gubkin Russian State Oil and Gas University were announced the top winners. Seven papers presented by the Gubkin Russian State Oil and Gas University, Tyumen State Oil and Gas University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Ufa State Oil Technical University and Moscow Energy Institute won prizes in the contest.

Mikhail Slobodin, Executive Vice President, Gas and Power, TNK-BP, points out that the Company recommends to the expert board of SKOLKOVO Foundation to award the Innovation Center Project Participant status to all three winning papers prepared by the Gubkin Russian State Oil and Gas University. "We shall encourage further promotion and testing of process solutions provided by the contest top winners and prize winners at the TNK-BP sites", he said.
