OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2011. Swiss company Switchward International Group extends the activity of its representation in Moldova. Moldovan enterprise of the group – Switchward Services – was launched two years ago with the purpose to develop applications for the company needs, as well as with the purpose to implement NOC and a number of tasks on sales, supported by Swiss management.

By the end of 2011 the range of these services will increase significantly and the number of Switchward Services employees will reach 25 people.

Switchward Services renders services exclusively to the Swiss office, but in the nearest future the company is going to offer Moldovan market the Cloud Computing Service. Switchward’s experience in Switzerland and the keen perception of the service speak about the necessity of such offer for modern business in all fields. Cloud Computing is an ICT revolution that decrease significantly the cost of infrastructure, hardware and proposals for users.

Switchward ICS AG is established in Chiasso (Switzerland) and operates in telecommunications. It is specialized in voice services, traffic of mobile and fixed communication, using TDM and VOIP solutions. Very comfortable and strategically correct geographical location, reliable partnership with main suppliers of optical fiber, as well as use of the most recent technologies allow Switchward Group offering its clients a wide range of qualitative and innovative services.

The main activity of the company is focused on telecommunications, that is: gathering and limiting the main volume of traffic of voice minutes for the national and international clients, among which are: Sunrise, Cablecom, Telekom Austria, Telekom Slovenia, Primus Uk, OteGlobe, Telecom Italia, Vodafone Group, Colt, iBasis, Slovak Telekom, San Marino Telecom, Eutelia, France Telecom Group and others. The turnover of the Switchward group in 2010 constituted about 100 mln US dollars.
