OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine considers the issue of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine at session. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this opening the session of the Government.

According to him, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine is leading in the development and introduction of new highly efficient technologies in rural areas.

Mykola Azarov noted that the modernization of the economy was impossible without massive introduction of innovations in all sectors of industry.

The PM recalled that yesterday he visited the International Innovative Forum of CIS countries and the largest an exhibition of innovative scientific and technological achievements in recent years. "I once more satisfied: it is realistic for Ukraine with its scientific potential to reach high growth" - he said.

Mykola Azarov paid attention on a number of examples testifying that Ukrainian scientists are progressive. As he said, scientists of the National Academy of Sciences had developed a special unique "stuffing" for detectors that are installed in the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.

"You know, as widely discussed in recent days, a scientific sensation on the observation of neutrinos with superlight speeds. In this experiment, Ukrainian detectors have played the key role", - Mykola Azarov said.

In addition, according to him, enterprises in Mariupol and Cherkasy produce modern technical equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. Roentgen diagnosis complexes of Kyiv and Kharkov production do not concede to import analogues. Highly qualified designers and developers of these enterprises can now implement a program of import substitution, in the medical industry.
