OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2011. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the top managers of Kotam Enterprises Ltd., the Turkish construction company ranking among Turkmenistan’s long-term partners of our country, President Muammer Agim and Vice President Seda Genguru in the Oguzkhan palace complex.

Thanking the Turkmen leader for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the top managers of Kotam Enterprises cordially and heartily congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan independence and the success of the speech before the sixty-sixth session of the United Nations General Assembly when the Turkmen leader had put forward a number of important international initiatives aimed at tackling urgent problems of the modern world, which had found immediately overall support from the world community.

Greeting the guests and thanking for the kind words, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that pursuing the policy of openness and wide international cooperation actively sought to attract advanced technologies and best expertise of world’s leading companies, including Turkish companies, which significantly contribute to modernization and development of key sectors of the national economy. In this context the Turkmen leader thanked the top managers of the company for acting as a long-term business partner in key joint projects aimed at enhancing the potential of the textile industry and meeting its obligations in a proper and timely manner.

Noting that his company was sincerely proud of successful long-term partnerships with dynamically developing Turkmenistan, Muammer Agim expressed profound gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for giving credence and the willingness to collaborate further in implementing the ambitious programmes of reforms initiated by the Turkmen leader for the benefit of the country and the wellbeing of its citizens.

During the meeting the top managers of Kotam Enterprises informed the leader of the Turkmen state of the fulfillment of his instructions and the progress in implementing the projects in Turkmenistan. Focusing on the keen willingness to expand fruitful cooperation, the top managers of the Turkish company presented new proposals to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
