OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2011. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has appeared as the General partner of the International conference "Grain of Russia-2011" held during 26-28 September 2011 in Rostov-on-Don.

The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, National Union of grain producers as well as IA "APK-Inform", and was devoted to a wide range of problems and prospects of grain market of the country.

Presentations were made by Delyara Sangadzhieva, Head of Agricultural Insurance Department of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. In her presentation she noted the benefits of new legislative initiatives in the field of agricultural insurance and focused on the hazards and risks for the system implemented pursuant to the new Federal Law “On Government Support in Agricultural Insurance”.

"Today such aspects of agricultural insurance as a large proportion of "schemes" and low level of awareness of policyholders about what they actually buy remain to be problematic," - continued Delyara Sangadzhieva. This picture of market does not promote the efficiency of insurance in rural areas nor does it contribute to the growth in the quality of insurance coverage of the farmers. Introducing radical changes to the system requires joint measures of the insurance companies and agricultural producers, as well as spot adjusting on the part of the government."

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company actively participates in industry events of the agrarian market and supports the industry's most significant events throughout the country. In particular, this year on 22 September the company performed as the General Partner of the II Annual Business Forum of Volga region Agricultural Producers, called "The new agricultural year - First results" and organized by "Agroinvestor" magazine. On 29-30 September the company will take part in the International Forum "Volga region Grain", to be held in Orenburg (organizer - Grain portal IDK.ru with support of the Government of the Orenburg region).
