OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2011. TNK Lubricants, LLC (a TNK-BP subsidiary) has announced a shift to an improved system for planning lubes production that features a daily production schedule, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The new centralized automated production planning system ORTEMS spans the head office located in Moscow and production assets in Ryazan. Availability of information on the current stock of finished produce and received customer requests, based on real-time data will allow a quick response to the fluctuating market demand, which, in its turn, will improve the production and logistics efficiency and drive down the costs.

“Managers have compete information, needed for decision-making, that mirror-reflects the present state of affairs. This helps improve the business efficiency and optimize usage of the equipment capacity attending to the customer’s needs”, says General Director of TNK Lubricants, LLC Maxim Khoroshenkov.
