OREANDA-NEWS. “Tourism in Great Silk Road - 2011” the Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF) will take place in Uzbek capital on November 2-4, 2011.

This traditional fair, which has been holding over 17 years, sponsored by “Uzbektourism” National Company and “TNT Expo” exhibition company.  

Variety of country travel directions will be presented at the “National pavilion of Uzbekistan”, which include about 60 tourism companies out of all country regions. Seeing of hall remind voyage around country, inasmuch as each stand reflects peculiarity of the region and discover its cultural and environmental features.  

According to media service of “Uzbektourism” about 50 foreign travel agencies, interested in enhancement of business links with Uzbek partners will take place in TITF.

In addition to Uzbek tourism industry representatives, companies of France, India, Czech, UAE, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Israel, China, Turkey, Tajikistan, Thailand and Jordan conformed their contribution to fair. Moreover, participation of Italian, Greek, Cyprian, Latvian, Indonesian, Spanish travel agencies is expected.   

TITF-2011 participants will present actually whole structure of tourism market, which include travel operators, hotel infrastructure, sanatoriums, resorts, motor and air companies, global reservation systems, suppliers of travel industry software and other tourism services, museums, show business and recreation organizations.   

Within the framework of forthcoming fair a number of events will be sponsored. Among them traditional “The National cookery festival”, “East bazaar” exposure, as well as “The city of artisans” applied art masters articles trade exhibition.
 
“The Great Silk Road” opened travel photography contest and “The best Uzbek guide” contest will be organized within the framework of TITF for the first time. 

The Tashkent International Tourism Fair is one of the largest travel fairs in Central Asia. TITF offers particular tourism services as cultural-cognitive and active voyages around the countries, via territory of which run the Great Silk Road in ancient times.   
   
Tashkent fair has been entered in a list of most significant international events in the field of tourism, carried out under the aegis of UN World Travel Organization.
